When I saw Spread Truth’s finished Leader Kit+ for The Story project that I’ve been helping with, I was giddy. The whole kit is packaged together in a way that made me want to open the box and explore!
Let me take you on my adventure . . .
Here’s the box. First of all, just let me say that I love square boxes. (You may have noticed that whenever possible, I crop my photos square for posting here at The Patch. Love it!) Although some of the text is blurry (my photography skills are lacking), you can at least see what’s on it. Snazzy, eh?
1) a Media Kit in another square box (like a gift within a gift)
2) a pack of The Story Booklets and a Conversation Card
3) a Facilitator’s Guide (emblazoned with “Start Here”—so very helpful!)
4) The Story Guide (Leader Edition)
Boxes packed like this add to the excitement of digging through the contents! I had to pull out all the pieces and see them, even though I’ve seen them plenty over the past year. My hope is that people who haven’t seen these things will react the same way.
Of course, I had to check out the Media Kit in the little square box . . .
Inside the little box was a USB drive loaded with media elements, also included was a small overview insert. Can you see the USB drive in the photo? Isn’t that great? Who knew wooden USB drives existed?! And it’s engraved with The Story logo. (I. Know.)
And finally, the last piece in the box was The Story Guide (the Leader Edition is included in this box but there is also a Participant Edition), which is the piece I’ve worked on the most. What a joy it is to see it printed and ready for use! You can pop over to Spread Truth to flip through some of the pages.
All in all, I’m so grateful to be part of the team at Spread Truth with this project.
If you are interested in learning about the most beautiful story of all time, you can order the Participant Edition of The Story Guide and check it out. I’m thinking about going through it as a participant myself! It’s good stuff, the sort of thing that awakens the heart and soul to what life is all about.
So I love the packaging, it’s true! But even more so than that, I love what this package is all about—how God is telling a story that will last through the ages.
