Much has been said recently about the mood of the country. It’s both a result of and an influence on the economy and the markets. Well, now New York City has a facial depiction of the nation’s mood, based on the tally of happy/sad emoticons used on Twitter. I wrote about this ever-changing billboard in an article titled “Mixed Signals: Mood Readings by Jell-O Pudding.”
