Putting others first and sacrificing on behalf of others sounds nice . . . until you have to do it. As a Christian, I want to follow in Jesus’ footsteps and lay down my life for others, but that isn’t always easy. I wrote about this struggle using, oddly enough, a cookie commercial. It shows how a common, everyday happening is an opportunity to give others preference. Read all about it in an article I titled “Mixed Signals: Dying to Self Via Keebler Fudge Stripe Cookies.”
