100 Days of Feasting

Sometimes, when all is quiet and still, I sense a low grumbling, deep within. The grumbling tells me I’m hungry for soul manna.

God is good to prepare this soul manna for His children. He spreads out a feast before me, in His Word. He calls to me, Come, eat. Be fed. Be well.

But too often I hesitate to sit at the table. I’m like a kid who can’t sit still, so I skip my spiritual breakfast and find myself fading mid-morning. You know what they say—breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Without it, I’m sluggish spiritually. . . .
