Reading Madness Hour 10 (4 p.m. CST)

Whew! What a start to this fall’s read-a-thon! Here’s what I’ve been doing so far:

Read-a-Thon Stats
Currently Reading: Amusing Ourselves to Death: Public Discourse in the Age of Show Business, Neil Postman
Finished Reading: Creative Prayer, Chris Tiegreen
Total Pages Read: 128
Total Reading Time: 2 hours, 15 minutes
Mini-Challenges Completed: Show Me Your Books

Now, I must break for several hours—I have dinner plans with my hubby and then a concert to attend (Sara Groves!) with a friend. I’ll be back by Hour 18 to kick off a full night of reading fun! The best part is that I won’t be alone—one of my lodge ladies has invited me over for the last part of the read-a-thon—how fun is that! I’m sure there will be plenty of chatting and laughing and yummy coffee and snacks . . . yes, we will try to get some reading in as well.

See you in the wee hours. Happy reading!
