What Keeps You up at Night?
Happy Halloween!
And I do mean the HAPPY part. Give me cute kids in sweet costumes and all the treats. (Especially mini Twix, which I will be enjoying as I pass out candy tonight.)
But I say no thanks to anything creepy on Halloween. Horror films are a no go. The last one I watched was in junior high and I about lost my mind with fear. I did watch Get Out and appreciated it—but once was enough. My scare tolerance caps out at Charlie Brown’s Great Pumpkin. 🤣
So you can see why Halloween has never been my favorite!
Since I’ve never liked to be scared or stressed, I bring this value into my client work. So many nonprofits are operating in fear and under immense stress to meet their budgets year after year. My goal is to help them move through those scary stretches and into a new way of donor engagement that is calm and purposeful.
After years of working with clients, I know the very real fears keeping them awake at night. They are fearful about:
😱 Raising enough funds to unleash their org’s potential impact
💀 Equipping their team to be more effective without the daily chaos
🧟♀️ Winning board support for investing in infrastructure
🧙♀️ Inspiring donors to invest more deeply & become champions for change
I get why these are scary: Finding answers will take time… and require change. All of which is scary!
But that fear doesn’t have to rule your org or your team OR keep you up at night. Let’s work together to help you find your calm and make sure your mission is irresistible to donors. Reach out to set a change chat so your team can do more good with less fear in the year ahead!
